Welcome to the Westmoreland School Library and Technology web page. As I get more comfortable with this new format, I'll post many of my course descriptions and rubrics for projects.

Google Drive and Student Email

As a new way to prepare students for Keene High, Grades 6-8 will be receiving school gmail accounts in the next couple of weeks and will be learning how to use Google Drive. Along with this instructions, students will be reviewing the social issues of cyber bullying and other Internet concerns. These school accounts will be for school only, although students will be able to access them at home. Only people within our system will be able to contact these email accounts restricting possible outside contact.

Although many of our students already have their own personal email accounts, these accounts will be the only ones students will be allowed to access on our network. These accounts will be the property of the school district and are intended for school work only. School administration and teachers will have the ability to access these accounts if concern of misuse is brought up. I'm excited about this newest opportunity for student learning. As we have witnessed, technology can be a powerful tool for student learning when its integrated into students everyday lives. As always, if you have questions or concerns, feel free to email me.
